Tree of Levias This sacred tree was named Levias, after the woman who died at its roots. The story tells that Levias was in love with a young prince. The prince pretended to love Levias as well, since he wanted her fortune. Though, the prince had not planned that he would fall in love with Levias for real. When Levias found out about the prince's scheme, she walked to this tree and collasped. Upon finding out of her sudden death, the prince committed suicide in her honor. |
