General Information f
• Name::
Hadley Messerle
• Age::
16
• Gender::
Female
Personality f
• Description::
Upon first meeting, the girl was timid as anything; quick to recoil from any physical contact, and seeming to be the listener of any group; the one you'd tell all your fears and worries to just to get them off your own chest. With a shy smile like her's, and such a lack of confidence in her body language, she just seemed the perfect type for such a thing. A rusted smile and a bit of stuttering would suggest a lack of ability in conversation. The lady was nothing of the sort.
A wolf in sheep's clothing, Hadley was quick to befriend any passerby and keep near him or her until nightfall; safety in numbers, eh? Only to pick pocket them and move onto her next victim. She'd be gone long before her 'friend' awoke.
Beneath the cautious exterior was a fiery girl with a vain confidence in everything she did. Ruthless in nature, she'd be quick to throw anyone and everyone to the wolves. Little information was safe in her wicked claws.
Short tempered and haughty, after you got through that timid cover, Hadley had quite a bite of trouble holding her tongue. Sure, she could fake a smile and be the perfect actress, but the real her was a loose cannon more likely to rip your heart out than keep you around.
If one were able to befriend the girl, she'd still have quite a bit of trouble with her wicked tongue, and was constantly spewing out lies on accident. She'd constantly catch herself on something and have to start over. A bit of a compulsive liar, she's just incapable of helping it. Terribly loyal to the few close to her, after all of those mistakes she's constantly making, Hadley'd drop her pride and grovel at her friends' feet for forgiveness. She had little companionship as it was, no need to chase away the few she thought cared.
On the matters of romance, Hadley wasn't against it, but she wouldn't go out of the way for anything of the sort. Relationships just meant she'd ruin everything all over again and be left in the dust. She knew better. If someone were to woo her, she'd try her hardest to keep them around, but even her best efforts were rarely good enough for anyone, in her own mind. Along with that, she'd rarely go for guys. Though there wasn't a true 'preference' in her eyes, Hadley was a bit edgy around men, and as a result, would have a harder time falling for them.
All in all, the argumental, overconfident actress with a fierce temper had dreams of being something of a spy for her kingdom, the Kingdom of Edris. Ambition ran through her blood, and she'd stop at nothing to complete the league and go off into battle, just to prove her worth, even if it meant tossing those that saw her as a companion under the bus.
• Sexuality::
Pansexual
Appearance f
• Description::
Pale skin covered a thin, almost bony frame. The girl wasn't too much on the large side, nor all that much developed in the top, but she didn't seem to mind to much. Less weight to carry in her own mind. Physical strength was something Hadley lacked, but intelligence- when she wasn't taunted into pulling something stupid- filled her, and she was terribly agile.
Hadley was long-legged, and had slightly sharp features. Though easily feminine, if she were to drop the make-up, work less on her hair, and wear something less girly, she'd be far more androgynous. Looking like a girl took her a bit of work, which was a bit of an issue in her mind, considering how much she'd be travelling.
Her hair was a basic brown color and went down to her chin in layers. No highlights or other colors were in it, and it was short enough to be pretty easy to manage on the journey, but even so, it was easily spotted out as being styled. The poor girl carried a bit too many beauty supplies with her, but with such a vain nature, it couldn't be helped.
Usually, her outfit would contain a bright yellow dress with black leggings, and two red hairpins, yet for ease of travel, such clothing was exchanged with a yellow t-shirt, a tan vest, and black jeans. The red hairpins were kept though, helping keep her hair out of her eyes.
• Trainer Traits::
Through the belt loops of her jeans in a thin, black belt with pokeballs strapped on the right side. On the front, left side of this belt, the symbol of the Rosaceous League is clearly visible. The belt has a silver buckle made of thin metal.

• Their Story::
Hadley grew up as an only child to a ship builder and a flighty mother who disappeared out of her life pretty early in. The child, growing up with a single, and constantly busy father, was almost always on her own. Sure, there were a few rules that you just didn't even think of breaking, like don't bring any boys over, but other than that, the girl lived of her own accord, and seemed to have been a delinquent from the start.
Had father more time to devote to his only daughter, or maybe had a mother figure been around, there'd be a pretty good chance of a far more girly and a far less unruly child, but neither of those things occurred, and as a result, a petty thief and an excellent liar and actress was formed.
Life in a small coastal village was easy, and such a 'shy' girl was quick to have any attention turned from her. She couldn't have possibly committed a crime, and that was exactly to her liking. Besides, it was never anything terribly important that she took. On occasion a few berries from a cart, maybe a little bit of money off of some of the richer folk, but nothing big enough to create a full-out search. The ego of a criminal was quick to grow.
At 12, the girl knew the town like the back of her hand, and easily could have headed to the shipyard with her father, just to visit at the very least, but such a thing was rarely done. The large, loud men were just something that frightened her, and father dearest never seemed too pleased with Hadley hanging around sailors, even if she was still young at this point. A bit of fear grew in her, and as a result, ever since, guys have just been slightly frightening to her. Never to the point of shivering or screaming or anything, but if they could be avoided, they would be, and if one were to come out of no where and speak to or prod her, Hadley'd probably become rather startled.
By 15, the petty thief had decided that she wanted to make something of her life, regardless of what her dad wanted. She wasn't just going to settle down in her village and just become someone's wife- have her own kids in the same place her parents attempted a family before her mom fled- she'd travel and join the resistance that her Kingdom was putting up. She'd make her life useful and become a legend wherever she decided to settle down afterwards. She was going to join the Rosaceous Leage. This didn't occur until she was 16.
At 16, Hadley mustered up enough courage to leave her house when while her dad was out working, his only knowledge of her position afterwards would be a note on the table in pen with the words "I'm joining the league." scrawled on it.
